Mod request
I am usually not really one to make mod requests. I am always very happy with the mods that are available to us, but having said that, I do have a mod request this time.

Does anyone here like playing smaller fields with older type machines and equipment? Yes, me too. That is why I would like to make a request for the MF pack from FS17 to be converted to FS19. I am talking about cab-less tractors and old plows and other farming impliments. Those old tractors and such is one of the reasons I still play FS17 from time to time. Sure there are a couple old MF tractors in FS19 but they dont compare to the MFs in FS17.

If a modder could convert that MF pack to FS19 and make it available on Giants modhub I would really appreciate that. Thank you in advance.

There are actually a few mods that have cab-less tractors. Here's a few you can look up in the in game modhub and check out.

Ursus C355/C355M/C360 Pack by Driver300 and Gracjan26

This pack has a 3 in 1 tractor in it. You can choose from one of three different models, each with and without a HUGE amount of customization options for cab type, colors, tires, ect. The engine audio is also a huge selling point for it as well. It has the old gurgle/rumble of the farm tractors of the 70s and 80s. It can be fitted with a front loader. Only has 45hp (base model), but costs only $18k, making it a good choice for small farms starting out. Definitely worth looking into!

Ferguson Pack by North Modding Company.

This pack is AMAZING. It has three small, very early 1930s tractors that have a TON of character to them. You can choose from a regular 23hp Ferguson, one with a halftrack / 6-wheel variant (with or w/o skies), and even a tandem unit tractor (two Fergusons joined inline for a whopping 46hp)! On top of the tractors, you will also get some specialized equipment to use with them: 1 blade, 2 blade and 3-5 bladed plows, a 3 ton tipper that can be turned into a flatbed, and even a grapple arm and circular saw to mount on it's 3-point hitch for light logging. A base price of only $2.5k make this a fantastic choice for starting out. And the audio... It's beautiful! Definitely has that old 4 cylinder tractor sound to it!

International Harvester 33 Series by Maaslandmods.

Not as fancy as the first two suggestions, but a classic tractor none the less. It's only got a base power of 45hp, and can't be equipped with a loader, so it would only be useful for plowing/cultivating fields or moving trailers around.

Fiat 65-66 by paulo5090r

Another good pack for numerous amounts of customization with and without cabs. Base models start at $8.5k for a 65hp tractor.

New Holland 180-55 and Fiatagri 160-55 by Peppe978

Ever wanted a full track tractor to do logging with? Definitely look at these two tractors! They can also be bought with and without a cab. Best part about it is that the tracks actually squeak when you drive it!

Thanks for sharing all this. Ive been a farm simmer since FS15 and enjoy this a lot. Ive played both large and small fields and they are both fun in their own ways. I think small tractors and equipment also offer somewhat of a challenge, which I am currently trying to find :) Thanks again for the info. Happy farming.

It's all good! Glad I could help out!

I do agree with them needing more small tractors, as well. I would love to see more of American made tractors by Ford, International, and older John Deere models. I also would like to see more of the "off brand" import manufacturers, such as Husqvarna and even Kubota.

It really bums me out that the only piece of Husqvarna equipment in the vanilla game is just a chainsaw. Husqvarna is very well known for their lawn care and light equipment, which would have been perfect to include a cheap zero-turn riding mower for people who wanted to get something to sell grass in early savegames. Why Giants didn't go through with including a few more Huskies, I'll never know.

Heck, I would also like to see somebody make a few of the old Porsche tractors that were manufactured in the 50s and 60s. They already did Lamborghini justice with including one of their tractors.

Count me in for some decent old iron and old family type farms, so long as they are realistically sized and priced. I am fine with grinding to keep a small farm afloat with old inexpensive low powered equipment if it's properly balanced for an immersive challenge. I love playing that way! There are some map and equipment mods for that currently, but we are pretty limited I find. I feel a set of that old stuff could have been included in the base game for those who really like to start from an old mom'n pop farm and progress to a 'medium' farm. It's also about nostalgia I guess.
