Anyone know how to turn OFF the reverse BEEP?
I like to use a lot of equipment that makes the beep sound when I back up (forestry equipment), and it is DRIVING ME NUTS!!!
I just want an option to turn that sound effect off, if possible.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!

Yes, ok. Well you could go with option number 2. Install the enhanced vehicle mod and do NOT turn on shuttle control for those vehicles. The beep should go away when you're reversing. (if you enable shuttle control, it'll beep)

If you're using mods, some have their own sound file that you can edit to remove the beep sound.

I have also found that if you use a mod like 'Enhanced vehicle' that has shuttle control, if you don't enable it on a vehicle, the reverse beep also doesn't work. So there's that.

I too wish this was an in game option. It can drive you mad working on a silage pile.

That mod did the trick. Although, I do not know where the interface for it is. I just installed the mod, restarted the game and the beeping is gone.
That's all I care about anyway. lol

Thanks!

I tried another method. in the directory "FarmingSimulator19/data(sounds/vehicles/reverse_beep" there are three sound files. I created a new folder there and moved those sound files to it.
And the beep is gone!

Farming Simulator 19\data\sounds

soundTemplates.xml

you can edit the volumes in that file...

<!-- Reverse beep -->
<template name="REVERSE_BEEP_01" file="$data/sounds/vehicles/reverse_beep/reverse_beep_01.wav" innerRadius="5.0" outerRadius="60.0" fadeOut="0.05">
<volume indoor="0.05" outdoor="0.10"/>
<pitch indoor="1.0" outdoor="1.0"/>
<lowpassGain indoor="0.5" outdoor="0.11" />
</template>
<template name="REVERSE_BEEP_03" file="$data/sounds/vehicles/reverse_beep/reverse_beep_03.wav" innerRadius="5.0" outerRadius="60.0" fadeOut="0.05">
<volume indoor="0.05" outdoor=".10"/>
<pitch indoor="1.0" outdoor="1.0"/>
<lowpassGain indoor="0.5" outdoor="1.0" />
</template>
<template name="KOMATSU_REVERSE_BEEP" file="$data/sounds/vehicles/reverse_beep/komatsu_reverse_beep_loop.wav" innerRadius="5.0" outerRadius="60.0" fadeOut="0.05">
<volume indoor="0.25" outdoor=".10"/>
<pitch indoor="1.0" outdoor="1.0"/>
<lowpassGain indoor="0.5" outdoor=".10" />
</template>
