XML Edit: How do you decrease weight gain on trailers?
My mate has amended the XML file of a trailer to increase it's capacity, however the weight gain ratio hasn't changed, causing the trailer to become unmovable at 10%, does anyone know how to change the setting so the weight of the trailer isn't affected by the amount in the trailer?

This has nothing to do with trailers. All materials in FS19 have weight associated with them.

You can get the Filltype Mass Adjustment (Realistic Weights)[farming-simulator.com] mod from the Giants modhub. Open it up and examine the file inside it. Once you understand it you can modify those weight numbers to your liking, to make them weigh less, rather than more.

A really simple fix, you just need to add the following: updateMass="false" to the correct line within the trailers xml file.

For example find the filltype information and add the line to it:

<fillUnit unit="$l10n_unit_literShort" updateMass="false" fillTypes="wheat barley oat canola soybean maize sunflower grass dryGrass_windrow straw_windrow" capacity="38000">

When you now fill that equipment it's mass will not change, above it's actual starting mass.
