cheers kimmaz, ive done that to a couple and it hasnt worked, i must be doing something wrong..
It's not the values in the XML file you change. They seem to do nothing.
It's the actual i3d model that needs editing.
You'll need the Giants Editor and open up, say KuhnAxis402.i3d. Go through the drop downs in the Scenegraph panel on the left until you get to workArea.
workAreaWidth and workAreaHeight define the left and right extremities of the spray area. They can be pushed further out by changing Translate X over in the right hand Attributes panel.
This changes the covered area but not the actual visual pattern. That's the 3d fan model attached to the back of the sprayer and can be pulled around crudely by clicking on it and adjusting the Scale values.
Note the Bredal sprayers have multiple workAreas as they have fertilizer and lime and two different spreader tails.
