From what others have commented about mod balers is that even though they weren't using the mod baler, they somehow still affected the bales made and those wouldn't work with most bale movers, even if using a "base game" baler. Only solution was to remove the mod baler file from the mods.
but still need them removed as the field is totally covered.. any way to delete them from the game without having to remove them with the fork..

That most definitely would be a definitive way to get rid of them but if you’re going to edit the xml there is very likely an attribute you could set so they could be picked up with one of the loaders. That way you wouldn’t have wasted all your time making them.
Just looked at that. About the only thing I could see would be changing the i3d filename of the bale in the xml file so the bale collecters would pick them up. Not sure if it would work though.
