Large Wood Chipper Not coming on
When I place a Log or tree branch in chipper, it does Not start chipping unless I get in the chipper and turn it on.
This is annoying having to get in and out of logging vehicles to get in chipper and turn it on all the time.
Is there any way around this ?
So it will turn on when i put stuff in....

Hi, turn "OFF" automatic start engine in the ingame options. When Auto start is "turned off" then you have to manually turn on the engine (Enter key by default). With Auto turned off, then when you exit any vehicle, it will continue to run, such as your wood chipper will continue to run when you exit it .. happy farming :)) Edit, also workers will still turn off engine when finished .. so all good there :))

do you have the option for manual ignition? if you don't have manual ignition turned on then vehicles will turn off when you get out of them. I'm assuming that's your problem....

Automatic start engine is on for vehicles, but chipper is like a seeder - it wont go unless you start it. In FS17 as soon as you placed a log in it would start chipping, now it doesnt unless you get in chipper and start it - its a waste of time, plus is annoying.

change the option and try that. I have not done anything with trees yet so I don't know the exact problem.
