4k monitor
I just upgraded to a 4k monitor, i have a 1080ti, i adjusted everything to 4k resolution, and when i start my career or even start a new career its very very laggy. it worked flawlessly on my old monitor which was 1080p resolution.....

Have the 1080ti no lag for me at 4k.

Pushing 4k resolution requires significantly more VRam than 1080p. How much VRam does your card have?

You may have to turn down some settings. Specifically anti aliasing is another VRam hog.

If you still have your old monitor plug it and use it to monitor the game using windows task monitor ressource while playing the game on your 4k screen. You have bottleneck somewhere and that how you gonna find it.Otherwise its try and error.Ive a 1080TI as well and im running a server while playing on 4k and im not lagging.Got a solid 120 fps.

That's pretty impressive. 120 fps at 4K? You must have quite the rig. I don't have 4K, but have a decent system with a 1080ti, and I sometimes drop below 60 fps at 1080p. (Heavily modded, but still)

Care to share any links to the rig you have. I'm thinking of buying a new one later this year, bit out of touch. current one is quite old - though I still run FS19 at 50-60fps at 1920x1080

NVlink/SLI is pointless for FS19, just as FS17 it will not work that good even with the hack in driver to trigger the second card just for a short while out of 2D lowpower mode. I had poor return of the second 1080FTW and one 1080FTW had better performance overall with higher min FPS. With one 2080Ti FTW3 there is no issue for me in 4K with correct settings for 4K that is nowhere near the same as for 1080p that needs work and AA to look acceptable unlike 4K that dont need it at all unless a huge TV is used with low PPI.
I am sure anything that is equal to 1080 is fine for 4K and its current restrictions of 60FPS for 99.9% of monitors. the 1080:s was even capable of pushing FS17 to 11920x2160 without dropping below 50FPS. I am right now done with multiGPU in one/two or three cards after over 11 years(3xGTX280SC, 1xAMD 5970, 3xGTX480SC, 3xGTX580 Phantom 3GB, 2xGTX Titan SC, 2xGTX1080FTW) of multiple GPU on one card or multiple cards and the return of second card going south.

What kind of CPU do you have? You can have the best GPU on the market but if you CPU isn't just as good it won't help much.

If you are looking for a new computer, it is cheaper to build one then to buy a pre-assembled PC.
