Felsbrunn (European) or Ravenport (American)?

What map would you choose? which one do you like the most?

So the Euro map has 33 fields, the US has 26. The US has the largest field, But it also has many of the smallest fields. They have about the same amount of large fields. But the euro map has allot more medium fields. Overall I would say the euro map has atleast 30% more farmland. The Euromap has square fields where the US map has allot of odd shaped fields. Also looks like the euromap has better headlands for the AI to negotiate. US map looks better for loging with the scorpion? US also looks like allot more elevation changes then the Euro one including extreme elevation changes.

Overall it looks like there is allot of fluff on these maps, but allot of people will like that, and it gives them more to showcase. I find it funny when watching the livestream today and thats what they where showcasing all the fluff. I am here to farm not be a tourist. Show me the fields. the headlands around the fields. the roads going to the sell points, the sell points. I will go discover the fluff when all my fields are planted and I am waiting for them to grow.

As to the OP question. I really wanted to say Ravenport. I like everything except for the field layouts and potential for growth. And not trusting the AI to negotiate small headland irrigular fields, I am going to vote Felsbrun for our MP server.

So, yeah, I`ve looked at the Felsbrunn map layout, and allready decided that I`ll place my farm somewhere in the upper right corner of the map, so that I`ll be "far" away of everything and have to do some driving when needing to go to town/sellpoints,fields, etc. I hate having sellpoints just "outside" my farm. :)

Maaan... I can`t wait to get my hands on the game. I stopped playing FS two months ago just so I`ll be "fresh" for 19. :))

What I saw so far EU map got better fields. US map got just few big ones and a lot of small ones.
EU map looks a lot more boring so far than US map. US map reminds me of GTA:SA.
I am gonna play them both. Dunno if both at once on release, or I will start with US map first.

I create exactly the same as you. I liked the video from US. But I hope to have the game to decide completely. Excellent reflection. Regards

I bought my PC last year and was saving to buy this game, I am very anxious to try it, imagine!

I know there's going to be a creative way, I'm going to try the two maps there and then I'll decide!

I have watched more videos and wanted to add to what I said above. The roads on the Euromap are narrow with trees and objects very close. This is a huge neagtive for me. Must be a real pain moving your tripple wheel tractors anywhere. Even daggerwind pointed out some of the fields your just not going to be able to get certian equipment too. Also a guy on our discord pointed out that while the layouts on the american map are not condusive to farming. They do have the most potential for customizing them the way you want. So this has put me leaning back the other way towards playing the American map first.
