Is it possible to hire a worker for weeder?

Worker goes to job done mode right away without weeding. Growth of crop is first stage. Any ideas?

Running seasons. Perhaps weeds grew too much already? If I run the weeder manually the weeds are destroyed still, so not sure.

Yes you can use AI helpers for weeders. The weeds need to be at the first growth stage. It could also be that the crops are ready for harvest which keeping them from working as well. Don't know for sure.

With seasons weeders are only effective in first stage growth - so AI helper maybe can't use it because it's past first stage. You can however use a herbicide sprayer at anytime - so maybe try that.

No. Workers don't use the weeder, nor will they spray herbicide. They simply don't see the weeds. You have to do it yourself, no matter what the growth stage. This is stupid programming on the part of Giants. Once your farm becomes large enough, you're too busy doing other things to bother having to stop and manually do the weeding yourself because now you're doing more farm management (the whole point of hiring workers). At that point, it's just best to turn off weeds in the menu.
