I found the list on this site https://www.yesmods.com/farming-simulator-resources/ to closely follow the list from the modders themselves on the Giants forums.

Sadly some of the non-trustworthy looking sites are the only places to get mods. With those I tread VERY carefully and then scan the file with both bit defender and Malwarebytes to make sure nothing is lurking.

This is a list I made, its very (very) similar to the one on Yesmods since that list is already very good.

I would advise against sites like "fs19mods" and "farmingsimulator19mods" since they are the opposite of my definition of legit. All they got are unpermitted reuploads of mods you can find legitimately from the mod makers themselves. Its easy to stay legit, you just have to not be lazy

those are crap sites 1. because they use a annoying upload/download sites
2. not a community, the site(blog) owner copy all mods from other sites (no user uploads)
3. you only can comment on that site

actually there aint exist a legit site for ls19 (it means, with user register/upload/file storage) and not 3rd party upload site

just make sure on both of them you filter the mods for the FS19

by far the best easy to find mods easy one click download and drag and drop into your mods directory in fs19 folder , simple i downloaded about 10 mods and installed within minutes. just make sure to clickk farming simulator on the right side

most popular modsites rely on leaking private mods, so the good ones are the ones that cant be obtained via normal methods. those you get from facebook groups, disords, etc.

You are right, but most mod makers release their content either on their public facebook pages or on Giants Modhub. Never heard of mod distribution via Discord...

Actually, the instructions above you are getting are bogus. the farmingsimulatormods.com site is bogus. It tries to get you to add browser extensions, a PDF converter, to convert your browser to yahoo, etc. The only mod place you can trust is the official Farming Simulator site. They have plenty of mods.
