does anyone use this logitech "heavy equipment bundle" gaming wheel/side panel?

I had one. The steering wheel developed a short within six months. side panel is still working fine though. As far as the wheel goes. It doesn't have force feedback only a spring to return it to center. I enjoyed it until it shorted. Many others have reveiwed it with no problems. Roll the dice and I hope your luck is better than mine..

I've read a lot of reviews about it and the general consensus is that the side panel is superb but the wheel and pedals are medicore.

It honestly looked cheap, I know it is cheap, but still. I personally wouldn't mind the side panel to use with my G29 just to make working loaders and stuff easier to use. At 149 for the cheap looking side panel alone.. no thanks

I have one that worked fine with FS 17, but so far does not work with FS 19. It is plasticky; I am also trying to get my T300 rs 599 Evo wheel and pedals to work with the Logitech side panel, but that is not working yet either in FS 19. Still trying to find the solution via discussions like this one.

I got one when fs19 came out and I'm loving it so far. Getting the controls figured out took me a bit. But once I started clearing the controls that was not using the help window really starting showing me which buttons were doing what. Then I just changed and added a few things to make it fucntion the way I like it. Seems like everything was set to a 10% free travel in game also. So I changed it so that the wheel had none and everything else I set to only 2% and I have no random movement anywhere.

Though I do love this equipment package. It does feel a tad cheap as it is just plastic. But it does fasten very nicely to the desk and feels plenty stable when in use. I've not seen anything else that compares to this package until you reach a price point over 500 for just wheel and pedals.

I set my flight stick to handle all the crane/logging equipment controls and my wheel and pedals for everything else!

This thing needs a treadle for these games. Until then it's no good.
