Vehicle camera reseting when loading game/save.

So i note that the game does not save the camera distance and it reset to be very close.

When i play in 3rd person view i like to get a good view of the surroundings so i put the camera to max distance but it keeps reseting. It is a very painful experience to have to use mouse wheel to zoom out for each vehicle which gets time and is very anoying.

So is there a way to change this zoom value which the games resets to? so it will be reset to the zoom level i want to rather than the game's default.

Ok.. Their is a setting in the general settings tab that says reset camera position. Make sure that is off. If you have it on, it will reset the camera every time.

Now it could be bugged for some, seen a few people say it's off, but resets anyway.

Now that you mentioned i think i have seen this option but i'v got lost. Let me check this again. I c what you mean but you have got me wrong, or i did not make myself clear

The Option to turn on/off vehicle camera reset is just for when you change between vehicle.
It does not affect when you load the saved game or a new game for that matter.

I want a permanently far away camera.

Well i c there ppl misunderstand us.

So for that reason i changed the title , possibly before you notice this thread.

I am willing to go mess around the xml file for the game, there should be one of those files with the value for the camera. Which if possible to find it and change it, so the game will still reset the camera to default but the default would be the max zoom out rather than the max zoom in.
