planter won't fill with seeds
I bought the most expensive planter so I could plant corn and sunflowers but everytime I try to fill it with seeds, it doesn't even give me the option to start filling. It will give me the option to fill it with fertilizer but not seeds. And yes I am using seed pallets, I checked that everytime. Same thing if I try to fill it with the seedrunner or use a forklift. Am I missing something? Am I the only one having this problem?

The Tempo L16? Just discovered same thing here. I've always used the Horsch 12SW.

Mind you, the helpers don't care.

Odd, it does fill up mine no problems, both with seeds and fertilizer. Can only wonder, what might be the issue for it not working for you :/

I haven't encountered this problem but I know in 17 after filling with fertilizer I needed to take the trailer away from the trigger area and then return so it could be filled with seed.

I tried a couple of times, gave up. It might work on a restart. Using a helper it works fine so I'm not too fussed atm.

If your using a forklift try raising the bag over the seeder. The bags have a trigger and animation for flowing out the bottom of the crate.

I understand that but I don't want to pay a helper 15k to plant the biggest field on the map.

You don't have to pay a helper. You can do it yourself.

Sorry I meant to reply to someone else lol. However, my point was that I refill the seed and fertilizer myself and it makes a HUGE difference in how much you're paying the helper to just plant and not plant and refill seed and fertilizer.

You play how you like but you'll lose a lot more than 15k not using helpers. Input costs of a helper are marginal compared to the return.

Because crops are not seasonal in FS19, if you plow, sow, weed and fertilise, harvest and transport your grain all alone, your potential turnover is going to be much less. Better to work with a helper and virtually double the output.

you're not understanding what I'm saying. I'm saying that I use my helper to plant the field for me, but I refill the seed and fertilizer myself. If you pay them to refill both it costs alot more then refilling it yourself. The only thing I do myself, besides hauling, is combining until i have to switch to the grain cart to dump. For planting field 8, if you have the helper refill the seed and fertilizer, it costs around 10K+ and if you refill the planter it cost around 2k to have the helper just plant.

Did you try what I said and did it work?

I tried but still no luck. I googled and it seems to be a known issue so I'm sure it'll be patched soon enough. Thanks for the tip tho!

Your post is a tad on the vague side so let me help clarify a few things to ensure I follow what you're saying and we're not making assumptions along the way.

The plantar you are using is the Tempo L 16. You are trying to fill it not by proximity to a bag on the ground, but with the seedrunner or via a forklift with a bag above it. In doing so, nothing comes up on the plantar to fill. Sound right?

If so, I am having the same issue and have tried several things. I don't have any issue getting the plantar filled with fertilizer using the seed runner, just with seed. I think the middle-body only holds fertilizer as it shows as full. I thought the boxes for the box drill would be where you would refill at but no luck there.

Yeah, bag filling at the shop works fine. Using an auger though does not, except for fertilizer. That is the issue here that I hope they fix.
