How to stockpile lime?
I'd like to keep a massive supply on hand, but I don't know what to do with it other than dump it on the ground. I was hoping an auger wagon would work with it, but it doesn't specifically say that it can do lime in the descriptions. Alternatively, was hoping maybe a bunker could hold the stuff, but again it doesn't say it can, so I guess not? Anybody found a good solution other than running to the lime dispensory 3 or 4 times after a few harvests haha

As far as storing lime goes, you can do this:
Buy Krampe trailer (59.000L) + Grimme SL 80-22 Quantum (belt system). Krampe trailer is for lime storage. Grimme is for loading your sprayer directly from Krampe. But it to work, you need to unload lime from grain door and not opening the whole back door.

Well on Ravenport you can get lime from the lime dispensory after you buy the BGA. But you would still need to run to that in order to buy from there. But it is close to the center where all the large fields are that need multiple trips. Really suprized none of the auger wagons can do lime. But even then filling a large one will not be enough to todo the largest fields in one pass.

Have not tried if you can load it into a tipper. dump it on the ground and use a converyor to load it into the spreader (or if it goes into bigbags when dumped from a tipper).

We ended up adding the fillstation mod. that allows you to put placables on your farm to buy in bulk.

^^^ This is what I did. Got tired of wasting money looking for vanilla solutions.

Either take a tipper trailer to one of the lime silos, fill it up. Take it back to your farm and manual unload, then load up when you need it using a front loader.

Or take the spreader to the lime silo, fill it up. When you get back to your farm, manual unload and it will place them back into bags.

I'm not sure about the conveyor either, was wondering about that. I do know if you dump it on the ground from a tipper it just unloads like silage, where you have to keep easing forward to make like a long ass pile of it across the map lol. Like Simeta said, it'll go into bags if you unload it from the spreader, but you'd have dozens of bags all over if you wanted to stockpile say 59k of it from the big tipper. Having a pile of it wouldn't be so bad if it could go in the bunker, but it doesn't appear like it can hold it.

Thanks for the mod suggestion, I use mods, but not normally the ones where you can fill all the things from the convenience of your own farm haha, prob won't end up using that one for myself. I might give the conveyor a go and see what happens.

BTW I've bought lime on Ravenport from the silo without owning the BGA... unless they've changed that.

Ohh that sounds like a nifty vanilla way to do it haha... I'll give that a try. Thanks for the suggestions everyone

The white auger wagon, the first one in store, will hold lime and fill your spreader. Though it doesn't hold a lot.
i got a silo mod and it holds everything http://www.farmingsimulator19mods.com/large-multi-silo-v-1-2-0-fs19/ have a look

Just to update, I put a shed down and unloaded the 59k Krampe into one of the bays, and picked it up with a belt, works great. As the pile gets used, I just "drive" the belt back closer to the pile a bit and extend the loading belt so I don't have to move the tractor.

If anyone decides to do it this way, here's a tip... when unloading the trailer, back it up onto the pile it just made to get it to pile it up higher before moving forward. Rinse and repeat and you can keep it pretty contained.

To add to what RZR said. another way you can dump. is as you are dumping it on the ground. use a lizard and quantim to have it make 1 large consolodated pile. If you unfold the quantim you can set it to an angle that it will make the pile.

So there's something you can use to actually push material? I used a front loader bucket on my tractor to sorta scoop n dump to pile it up better, but yeah pushing it with some sort of blade would be even better... not sure what the quantim is you mentioned?

Grimme Quantum belt.

The "leveler" works great for this...

Ohh I gotcha, use a belt to make a pile like they do with woodchips at the paper mill... nice one.
