Bale wrapper doesn't wrap grass bales
Hey all, so I've read through a dozen of similar topics and forums and so far no luck.
So I cut some grass, then I used first the Kuhn FB3135 to make a bale out of the cut grass and foil them all at once, now when it comes to wrap the bales it says this bale is not supported.
Then I tried it with a dedicated bale wrapper the Kunh SW4014, same thing it doesn't do anything just says this bale is not supported, but it is simple grass, fresh cut.

I have no idea what is wrong.
I also play on the Felsbrunn Umbau V4.0 map.

Any ideas?

So I've tried all 3 ways to wrap bales. The small MOD that only wraps round bales, the bigger in-game wrapper that can do both round and square, and also the combination baler+wrapper that you are trying. The only way I can get that message you describe is if I try and wrap a bale that is not actually "wet" grass. If I dry the grass with a tedder first, it doesn't work. Also it's worth noting, that whatever gets into the baler first defines what bale comes out once it fills up to 4000. If you start with 1 of straw and then fill in 3999 wet grass you will get a straw bale. A start of dried grass (Hay) will make a hay bale, no matter if the majority of the rest og the total 4000 in that bale is wet grass. Only wet/fresh grass bales can be wrapped.

It was freshly cut grass and the bale wrapper was new, I think it has something to do with the map, or maybe a mod, tho I have nothing which should cause this.

I'll try another map.

So it is one of the mods causing this, now I just need to find which one *sigh :steamfacepalm:

Are you using a John Deere 5something baler mod that has a capacity of 8000l per bale? If so thsts the culprit. I went through a smiliar issue but with straw bales not autoloading.

John Deere 568 was the mod name. Was part of a pack that also had mowers and other stuff.

Good on ya mate. Using your experience to help others. It's good to see.

Silage
You don't need to wrap the bales twice. Grass bales turn into silage bales the moment they're wrapped once.

I know. Looking at what the OP is saying he isn't trying to double wrap. From my understanding the bale is coming out of the baler and onto the rollers to be wrapped but he is getting an error message there. That's when he tried to use a dedicated wrapper but still getting the same error message. Am I misunderstanding him?

Correct, I tried the bale wrapper on a new farm without any mod and it worked perfectly.
Although, I couldn't find which mod causing the problem and I have way too many to try them one by one. At first glance none of them should cause this but who knows.

I guess I'll just skip grass bale wrapping.

No it was a normal baler, but I took out couple of mods I never used and everything works fine now, I suspect it was a kuhn baler wrapper mod which caused all this.
