External mods not working
I downloaded and installed some mods off of Modhub. When i go in to the mod section of the main menu they all show up in my installed mods, but when i go to start the game none of them show up in my available mods. Any help?

I think you have too activate them before you start the game

As andrew140 said you need to select / activate them on screen just before you start the map.

they are not showing in the screen where you activate the mods

If they are not showing in the activate mods screen are you sure they are FS19 mods?
In your save game folder at the bottom of the folder open log.txt and see if they loaded alright or do they give an error?

I have had the same problem with some not loading. Some are fine but others give me the error message in the log.txt in the folder. What can I do to fix this?

post the error message from the log.txt to help solve the issue.

the fact that they are untested mods from a 3rd party site is more then likely the culprit.

Here was one I just tried...
Error: Invalid mod name 'Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax v1.0.0.0 - Modhub.us_files'! Characters allowed: (_, A-Z, a-z, 0-9). The first character must not be a digit

Here was another one from earlier, not sure what this was for though...
2019-01-08 16:55 Error: Failed to request recommended mods, HTTP error code 0
Iowa Potato Jan 8, 2019 @ 4:02pm
I went to modhub.us for these, just looking for a few decent ones to get some more options on trucks and also find a placeable seed/food/fertilizer silo.

Be weary of some mods poping up these 'fakie' mod hubs - know how they 'work' and check for issues in your console, for every new mod - there's some crap out there already that I wouldn't touch. The HTTP error is harmless, the mod not showing up in-game is a worry and you should delete it and try the vanilla mods first. I've tried a few external mods and most are still 'beta' to me.

Before you start the game go into mods folder find your Chevy zip file and change the name to this just copy paste this> Chevy_Silverado_3500_Duramax_v1.0.0.0_Modhub.us_files

Thanks everybody. I looked at my log file and all the mods that werent showing up were giving the invalid mod name error. I fixed all the mod names and now they are all working perfectly

Glad you got it sorted. Most of the time it is just the spaces between the words in the name just add an underscore_ between them.

Well what is the problem here? People designing mods who don't know what they are doing? I am lucky if every 5th mod I download works/shows up in any menu. I can barely get any maps to appear in the "pre-start" list. We shouldn't have to be digging around files and changing lines of code or whatever.
