Want to start as Pig farmer, what is the most FLAT FIELD in Ravenport?
And that is not to fare from the animal dealer.. guess he both sell and buy the pigs ?

was thinking about not to large field to start with.. about size of field 15 but that is waaay to curved... and cost a fortune to make flat

been searching.. find none good start fields for pigs.. ill check other map that followed game.

Lol funny how field 15 is perfect starting spot on the other map...flat and sweet location along the sea

Fields 1 -3 plus the land directly East of field 3.
The distance to the animal dealer is mostly irrelivent as all the Giants maps are small and the animal dealer on Ravenport is in the middle of the map, so equidistant to anywhere.

1-2-3 where you first spawn? ..hm might have a point. can have 3 field for price of one.. mean can make own gras and straw fast...ok i drop the other vanilla map

oh my bad. 1-3 is top left corner.. checking em out now.. still 24-25-26 is not so bad start to ?

NM ravenport 21 and 22 is perfect... already have ready gras and soon wheat for straw.. and are very flat, close to shop and animal trader... can not ask for more then that,.

1/2/3 are not too bad for starting out. it does have some slight slope to it. Best part about it is you can piece meal the farm togeather. IE buy only one of them to start. then as you grow you can buy the next property. and then grow and buy the next property. Although for pigs probably not as ideal since you need to hual the pigs across to the animal dealer.

I really like field 7 for animals well cows since it has a nice flat chuck of land. you next to the BGA to sell manure/slurry. your close to the animal dealer. and if your doing cows you have your silage right there. water sources is also close over by the BGA. Although this is the most expensive option and probably not cheap enough to start out on.

Field 12 is also a decent spot for pigs. close to water/BGA to sell. a good flat area to build a couple animal pens with land left over for feed.

Yea 14/15/16/17 while at a good location. is a horrible spot for structures, sloped land makes structures cost to much.

20/21 is a decently flat area. water is close. but the animal dealer is far away and up a hill making it tuff to get to market. But this is one of, if not the cheapest starting locaiton for animal pens.

Starter location 19/24/25/26 can be turned into a pretty large flat area with allot of money and a place anywhere mod. water is close, Animal dealer is up the hill and everything is just far away

thanks for tip ..just figure out that pigs not need grass so 24-25 was bad idea.. lol and i made like 15 silage hey bales and all .. i just start new game instead of fix this.. btw i find lease is smart in start. as you can return it when you done with it.. and keep leasing a desent telehandler and few basic stuff you need to have avaiable all the time.

12 was perfect. also start with barly on it. so straw can be easy ..wait now im on cows again dammit.. Pigs do not eat barley i think.. checking .. cool they eat barly to :) well their pigs..!

Fields 20+21 are close to the shop, so another benefit of convenience. Remember, you can just buy the pig food at the store (basically across the street). Later on you can buy another field(s) and grow your own, but only if you are going to do pigs long-term.

Water isn't a problem anywhere because you can easily buy and place your own water placeable in the Misc section.
