Solid or liqued fertilizer?

Noob here. just wonder what is the cheapest , just started a farm and next thing to buy is somthing to fertilliz my filed with . wonder if i should buy a bredal that can spray lime and solid fertilzer or a tank for liquid ? any tips?

I use one of the multi purpose cultivator, fertilizer, seeder implements. Solid fertilizer and seed bins. One pass, three steps completed.
Later for a second feritization, I'll use a liquid sprayer that hooks to the back of a tractor with thin wheels. No crop destruction.
Lime is put into a Bredal. Sole purpose is to spread lime every 3 harvests and after plowing.

I always use the solid fertilizer in the trailer that also spreads lime. It's cheaper to swap between lime and fertilizer with the one machine instead of buying a liquid fert trailer and trailer to spread lime. I don't have weeds turned on so I don't need a sprayer.

But what about hermicide? which tool do you use for that ?

But what about hermicide? which tool do you use for that ?

I play on slow growth and i found that using a weeder is alot cheeper in the long run than buying liquid herpicide.
weeds usally pop up after 3-6h ingame. and i dont seed after 21.00. I usally goto sleep there and wake up at 5-6

Yes but the weeders aren't fun to pull around and the really wide sprayers don't consume more herxicide than the small ones.

I started with the liquid sprayer for the accuracy, since the nozzles show exactly where the fertilizer will go. I rented a lime spreader in the early game.

Trying the different configurations in the fertilizing contracts convinced me that the Bredal was better in the long-run. Solid fertilizer seems the most efficient cost / acreage and the Bredal spreads it really fast.

I don't use herbicide. Weeds were bugging on me so I turned it off.
