import radio stations

does anyone know if there is a way to import REAL radio stations from the web into the game?

Yes you can. Go to my documents/my games/fs19/music and there's a read me with instructions on how to do it.

Im guessing the problem is with the radio station(s) you are wanting to add. Some simply don't use a recognizable format/link and it's a pain digging into the html/css to find what you are after.

Maybe if you list the station(s) and links you are wanting to add, somebody could map it out and help.

For any of you hard rock, metal lovers.. THere is a radio station in Ft Wayne Indiana called 98.9 the Bear. https://www.989thebear.com/ Much better than that 80's hair and metal station in game imho. Ya know, the one with the ad's everytime you switch to it, ,and then click 5 over and over and over until it goes away! Blah...

I'd love to add this to my list if anybody out there enjoys and does the work. Please and thank you as always.

its pretty self explanatory. you replace the example url with the streaming radio url it must be in one of the shown formats just a web address to a website playing raido dosent work it needs to be a streaming link.

THATS a whole different question.

not all radio stations provide a streamable link.
many popular radio stations belong to a network. in the united states there is such offerings as iheart radio... thousands of popular radio stations in all the big city markets. on one platform... not a single one has a link or address that can be streamed in farmsim or truck sim.
i cant speak fro other countries, but you want to search for stations with the formats found in the games music folder where the radio stations go.

or conversely when searching for radio stations make sure the link has those formats in it.
i cant say what UK stations would have a link that works. i KNOW there are a few, also try euro/american truck sim custom stations... they use the same kkind of radio set up in those games. i cant listen to the link you provided im outside the uk. but you could also contact the radio station via email, asking for a streamable link to listen to in your farm sim game.

using the google with the right words might get you what you seek.
i would try UK streaming radio with .mpu etc formats.

I've tried add a few, following the guide as well, and just not get any of these otherwise valid m3u or pls addresses to work properly (they open and play fine in browsers and/or media players). Figured to hit '5' alt+tab out and play the music on desktop and alt+tab back into the game because life simply isn't long enough to try make something like this work.
