it's not that many really, 2, maybe 3 depending on the map. but it means you sell all the silage in one go from the pit.
An alternative use I've just remembered is to create a wood chip pile, or grain piles in sheds. put the conveyor in the shed as well, and then you can just back the truck upto the conveyor to fill up.
Like you, would love to hear how others used them.
Hmm maybe I'm not following, I would love some screenshots, or better yet a video, if you're up to it.

it's only 10 minutes long and clicking through it quickly looks exactly the setup I did with BGA & silage.
Using the small and large conveyors are also good for clearing the smaller personal silage clamps into a trailer / tipper for transport.
Interesting, great ideas.
In FS17 i used them for cows to move the manure to a sell point automatically, that worked pretty well.
