I've been using it to haul seed and fertilizer for reloading my seeders in the field.

But which seeders and planters have you been using it with?

Condor mostly. Also TF 1512, Rapid A 600S, Maestro 12 SW, and Tempo L 16.

any seeder that has a cover that can open it works fine with, but you might have issues with the ones that do not have a openable seed cover.

also ones with their own augers it might work on.


p.s. i have used it, and while it was a little awkward it worked fine.

It works but tricky with some things.
That Tempo L 16 has issues... Right now seems you can only fill it with seed using those bags you buy at the shop. Fertilizer works fine otherwise.

I have found another thing, sometimes it take time, from the material being moved and for it to appear.

Scenario:
You have moed it correctly, positioned it correctly, seed or fert is on its way, but it takes a while before it appears.

You see nothing coming, you think something is wrong and repositions. But now the pipe is out of aligment so no seed or fert will appear.

In FS17 I used this:

And then I filled the shovel of a tractor and drove it to field and filled with seed or fert if it was needed.

So... seeing how you guys are discussing augers... What do people use to refill the fertilizer in the Horsch Pronto 9? Seems I can get the Elmer in there to refill the seeds. Since it takes less fert, I used the small Kinze. Couldn't get it to work. Since I can fill the seeds with the Elmer, I tried to fill the fert with the Elmer, but NOPE. Spent 30 minutes fiddling and maneuvering around, no dice. Gotta drive all the way back to the farm to fill up. Ugh... I love 4x maps, but this kinda sucks, it's a big field and was hoping to refill with an auger.

Note: yes, before anyone asks, of course I opened the cover! :P

Some seeders have multiple covers, like the Stara Ceres Master, which holds both seed and fert. If I don't have the right cover open I can't fill the desired material, like if the fert lid is open I can't put in seed

The Horsch has one cover for both compartments. Just odd that I cannot seem to fill the fertilizer compartment. Also, the vanilla augers have pretty short pipes as well.
