How to mod?

hi guys. i want to have some mods but dont know how to mod the game.

well i went to this mods.us website and downloaded some mods for FS19.. I went to my game folder in steam and created a folder name Mods. Then extract the mod zip files to a new named folder example: chevy1 and put this folder into mods.

well.. notghing happens. obviously doing something wrong. But all youtube vids and everything doing the same..

any help?

Mods go in the Documents - My Games - FarmingSimulator19 - mods folder. They do not go in the Steam folder.

Not sure if sub folders will work in the mods folder. Put them in not in a folder.

Correct, leave them zipped.

If you are not experienced with modding i would not use those external sites as quite a few of the mods are broken and or stolen and can lead to corrupted saves and crashes in game.

just stick to the ones that you can get in game that are varified.

The reason they are not on the ingame modhub is they know they would probably not pass the giants basic testing, that and they dont make money from the modhub.

Modhub is great but the search feature suck. When you search for something it return back results for all sim farms which makes it hard to know if you are actually downloading a FS19 mod.
