Logging is so boring
I was really eager to do logging thing. It seemed great fun. and i im still having a great time when watching logging youtube videos.

So i have decided to give it a shot... Planted trees, waited for 4 game days.

Cutting trees with the big boys is so fun. But putting logs into the truck is... like hell! I tried to cut the trees into truck too. Its also so difficult. I spend 1.5 hours to cut like 10 trees and put them into the truck. Also cutting them into the truck with big boys made me tired. Its always the angle is not right. The head of the cutter never can adjustable to the truck when carying logs.

Now maybe i need more practice on this but i really thing its just really wasting time. I think they need to change this truck loading thing.

Just wanted to share my opinion. Thanks

Yup gave up too. Just DL the mega strength MOD and load up. Can try using the loader....but after 10mins use this ability. Makes the game more fun.

It's not that hard! Use the MAN logcrane with an xbox/ps4 controller it's very fast and accurate if you change your controls for only crane

I will try your suggestion thnx.. but its like impossible to grap a log from the ground.. seems theres no way. Also you really need to grap the log from mid.. otherwise there will be no balance and it keep moving on one way.. and to grap the the log from mid is.. hehe like to catch a fish with bare hands

First the all the default logging forks in the game do work and take some practice. Actaully a lot of practice. Expecially the wheeled fork loader, it's difficult to use and pretty frustrating.

The Stoll log fork due mod linked above works much better with the wheeled loader. Especailly if you make extensive use of the tie down (L).

Using the scorpion king with a flight stick to control the crane is a very smooth operation.

Also encourge the use of the skid loader stump grinder, it melts the stumps.

i find i like using the log skidder to drag logs into a pile, its important this pile is next to something that doesnt move, then you use that static object to push up against with the loader to fill the log fork

but yeah logging sucks

i did kinda setup with other cars. I arranged them next to the trailer so when the loggs come they push them into the trailer.

You can make a designated spot when cutting trees. I usually plant 4 trees in a box shape then cut them so they are about 7 feet high each.

When cutting trees drop log in the “box” and park trailer beside for easy loading.

It is functional mostly and its possible, with some practice i can log many times that about of trees in the same time if you use some logic in the way you handle them and process them.

well im trying to improve my ways but still its kinda slowwwwwww
You don't need the really expensive logging equipment unless you're doing very extensive forestry. If you're starting out or just logging as a sideline, all you need is a small tractor with a FZ 60 front loader and logging fork, a timber runner with a towing dolly, a stump grinder, and a chainsaw. You might also need a heavy weight for the back of your tractor, and a tipper for bendy limbs. Just toss them in and haul them.

If you want to go even smaller or just do simple tree removal, use a Jenz wood chipper, a stump grinder, and a chainsaw. You can cut wood into pieces small enough to carry by hand and chuck 'em in. Your grain tipper can also be used for transporting wood chips.
