Yes I know and tried all of them, thank you for your help or not.
Thank you I did put it on the back and nothing happened, so I will lease and try front.
Dude's just trying to help.
The stump grinders are expressly for the purpose of removing stumps. So if somebody comes in here and asks how to remove stumps, OBVIOUSLY that's going to be our first suggestion. So before sniping the guy, help us help you by letting us know you already tried the stump grinders FFS, we can't read minds or wipe runny noses from here.
HMM, I said thank you for your help. the or not, was because I stated that I had tried all the tree stump removal clearly I was not using them correctly. But thank you to all for the help, except those who are trying to make something out of nothing.
I see wood chips when i hover over the stump and after 5 min of waiting it is still not gone.
Could it be a bug instead?
After the tree fell, I noticed something I've never noticed in previous iterations of FS: a little wedge was created that fell to the ground as the tree was falling. Since we can pick things up now, I just picked up the little wedge and threw it in the back of my pickup, it wasn't a big deal.
I'd never noticed this before, but it did ring a bell, I believe they cut a wedge in RL to help the tree fall in a specific direction? So I just figured that's what this was.
More recently I've cut down more trees with the chainsaw, and I noticed the stumps were suddenly a lot harder to remove. Finally I realized that I wasn't just cutting the stump, I was also cutting that wedge, because these times the wedge was always deep in the ground and couldn't simply be picked up.
So why was the wedge suddenly getting stuck in the ground each and every time, making it next to impossible to remove stumps, whereas the first time I was able to simply pick up the wedge without issue?
I'm not sure, but I'm willing to bet it's because I started cutting trees right at the base, as close to the ground as possible. It would appear that cutting the tree too close to the base causes the wedge that is created to get clipped into the ground, making removal very difficult.
Something to think about if you're having a hard time removing stumps: try not to cut the tree so close to the ground. The clue might be whether your wedges are able to be picked up or stuck/clipped into the ground/stump.
This is how you remove the vedges that are stuck in tin air. The wedges that fall to the ground is just to pile up and sell at the lumbermill. Stumps are very easy to remove if you cut trees close to the ground. I have no prob what so ever with the grinder.
