The only problem with the Mod is that for some bizarre reason you can't unload it when it has either Fertiliser or Lime in it, and the only way you can switch to the other filltype is when the machine is empty.
You are going to have to look to mods. This is a simulator, the way it is right now is realistic, it takes tons of lime per acre in real life and is hard time consuming work because of the quantities involved. The devs aren't going to do something that is not realistic.
try using liquid slurry as fertilizer, i had to refil the biggest modded or base game tanker i had over 10 times to do one medium sized field for the map i was on, and that filled the actual slurry sprayer alittle more times on top of that.
that is the way things work unfortunatly.
sorry should have pointed out that was fs2017, not done it in 2019 yet
That's a huge joke. If the developers are not going to do sometning not realistic then why are the gross weights of trailers, the volume of harvestors, trailers, seeders, etc, and the amount of fuel the tanks of equipment so far over what is legal on the roads and the structural limits of the equipment?
The yield of crops per acre/hectre is off quite a lot, too.
While traveling on roads and open ground, the speeds of the tractors and harvesters is considerably over what can be safely controlled in real life.
When pulling an implement doing tillage, and disengage the clutch on gear drive, or shift the hydralic transmission to neutral, the tractor will come to a stop in a short distance instead of yards/meters. Almost farm work is done at speeds of 15mph/24kph or less.
Sorghum/sugar cane is planted with seed, also known as milo, using a corn planter or grain drill/seeder and not by stem cuttings.
Cattle are fed silage made from fermitted corn stalks with the corn kernals, hay (grass) or sorghum along with shell corn, oats and soybeans. TMR would be made with silage, grain and hay. Straw and corn stalks (after the corn is harvested) is used for bedding.
Set down with a good conversion program and you will come to realize how far from realistic the simulation is. This game is not realistic in its simulation of actual farm work....
Not having to refil a piece of equipment as long as its not game breakingly bad is not the same as balancing the economy and driving mechanics to make a game playable for the layman with no tractor driving experience.
From what you just said, as a fork lift driver is should be upset that the fork lift has no side step and also does not drive any where nearly as accuratly as a real fork lift, i maybe pointed it out once to a friend and was like, yep i can understand it not being right.
they do an ok job of trying to balance the game and its realism, but the rest is where mods come in.
