the problem is that the whole registry for the mod need to be rewritten to work you would need the source code for the mod and a piece form the game to make it work

when they rewritten the gps for FS17 he got help from giants to do it but the is to complicated to rewrit for fs19 without the source code for the mod

even Wopster need's to rewrit it to make to it work

but you probably dont need to don't need to recreate the entire mod""

How did you get the specializationUtil to register the mod as a new specialization?

There are work arounds a for key bindings. You can call them out specifically in the lua script in lieu of using the InputBinding call back and referencing them in the modDesc.xml

i got the key bindings to show up but i need to re register them in the gps lua to make it work

""ps this is how""

""quote by jodamm Hello,
I have created an example mod to show you how to load new Spezialisierugen in LS19 and also assign existing VehicleTypes.
Key configurations are also included, one for each vehicle, the player, and Global.
Preset of the keys is now also in it.
The Mod does not do anything, except to add a specialization to the sowing machine and to generate a message in the log.txt when the key is pressed.

I hope I can help some modders to port their mods to the LS19.
Since the mod is synonymous only by trial and error, it is likely that if the official documentary comes out one should adapt his mods again.

I support the introduction of the old GPS to 19,although I don't understand programming at all, there is no way to help.

The problem is these basic functions, including automatic working width, direction, and straight-line driving. I think these functions should be provided by the giants. As the game went on sale, it became either a bizarre and slow show of AI, or a distorted path like a monkey that happened to be a tractor, and couldn't even create a complete field. Both the giants and the original author turned a blind eye to this, which greatly reduced my gaming experience. As for those who oppose, copyright is a problem, but you can also choose not to use it.
Thanks squiddy
This will be most helpful in converting.

this game is a NO BUY for me because Giants didn't take the time implement this basic feature that 95% of the major Tractor Manufacturers have in real life (all called by different proprietary names, but with the same goals/functions. Steyr calls it S-Tech for example while Fendt calls it VarioGuide).

My whole thought on this is that the time Giants wasted on the absolutely useless dog could have been spent adding gps to the base game.

I wish I had some knowledge to assist you in this but sadly I don't have the knowledge required.

ok
try good old bout markers they worked before GPS and were accurate enough
As much as I miss GPS steering, part of me wonders how useful it will be on some of these more curvy fields. I guess that'll have to be accounted for in the FS19 version. In the meantime, I need more practice using headland.

no differently to any of the modded maps in any other version of the game since the gps mod was created.

why pay for them to add the gps mod when it has so far always been eventually modded into the game, only difference now is if the gps mod original maker is doing it or some one else now.

I've sort of gotten used to not having GPS mod now, although should anyone get one working I will for sure try it out.
I think, you should save some time, play the game as it is right now - or not if you don't like to... It's all up to you... However, upsidedown did not give permission specifically for this case, so this whole issue of yours is not worth it, because you will take an ultimately long time to figure out how to convert a mod that's originally not made by you, while WOPSTER[www.facebook.com] appears to release a fully functioning gps mod within the next weeks.

Now I know this thread is a few days old, but I thought this would be a helpful information.

If the mod was released under GNU the OP only has to follow 3 rules and it’s not copyright infringement if he does so. That being said I do not condone taking other people’s work.
1. Give the original author/s credit
2. Has to be released under the same GNU.
3. Cannot generate revenue.

That’s it. That’s all a GNU requires and that’s what 99.9% of mods are released under.

I understand where you coming from but I "WAS" NOT trying to do this to upload but for information purposes ONLY IF I DID IT WILL NOT upload the mod but help those that want help
