You need to actually cut up the tree and remove all the leaves and branches...
Try to cut everything as long and straight as you can
and be sure to cut branches off flush... if you leave even 4 or 5 inches hand off the log it will be worth jack at turn in....

They have done alot to force people to log and not just push whole tree's into the turn in slot... Now if you do that the tree will be worth like 50 dollars but if you lim it and cut it up etc you can get 3-4 K for it.....

I have been trimming the trees, the in game going price is $160 witch seems really cheap

you cant just turn in a giant pole either
Cut the trees up into 8 foot lengths

I have never had a tree go that cheep...
The Tamracks I gut into 3-4 pieces depending on height and get about 1.2K
The Pine Trees are about 1.5K
The Twisty Hardwood ones after cut up and hauled in yeild about 3K
The Straighter but really bushy hardwood ones are 4K plus

I simply pull up the cheep trailer customized to 8000 Liters capactiy and toss the wood inside it as I cut it up into the largest and straightest peices I can pick up.... Yes that means alot of small fat chips with the big hard woods but each of those small flat chips still is worth around 150 dollars each cut up.....

if you get the loong wood trailer for teh semi, you will have some what of an angel of how loong they shoude be, so take a full grown tree, drive the trailer so it fits from one end to the other, the chop it, , if you have planted a tree, make shure its fully grown, then that tree wil yeald you 2 halfs that fit neat in the back of that loong wood trailer, fiy.. just saying ,:)

Yes they did sell for alot mor in 17. and that was broken AF. They made it so you actually had to work for the money instead of fallin and draging 5 trees to to the trigger to make 10 mill (ya im exadurating)

Are you talking about woodships? I cannot see a price for logs. I might just be blind and missing it though.

Wut? Wood chips come from trees put through the wood chipper. not to sure what you are talking about with taking away woodchips from doing wood work, that was never a thing (without mods). when you cut a tree thats all you got was the tree there was no wood chips laying on the ground

ya thats pretty good money for what you did. concidering a cord of firewood (about 1.5 pickup loads) irl is like $120 lol. its fun to watch people complain that they nerfed logging in a game thats suppose to be a "simulator". Lucky they didnt go full realistic on that note, just sayin a load of 6m shorts on the ingame timber runnner would only sell at a real mill for maybe 2500 max not 38k
