Why cant I start as a New Farm on multiplayer?

I meant New Farmer. When you go to multiplayer and create a new game you can't select New Farmer mode.

Understood, you wanted this to start with gear or because the difficulty is easier?

If its just for the diffculty, you can start in Normal and then go to the savegame file, change the "difficulty" from 2 to 1 and it will be on Easy, but this will NOT add gear and placeables to the map, just changes the prices of things, etc..

Just to start with the gear is all. I suppose I could start the map on singleplayer then host it on multiplayer?
