Tire differences?
Anyone noticed any difference in the available tire manufacturers other than looks?

Sorry let me clarify, Trelleborg, Michelin, or Nokian

crop tires are the only ones that do anything. adding more tires, dual etc just adds weight and area, good for counter balancing weight or compacting.

+ bigger tires that raise your vehicle make it easier to navigate hilly/bumpy areas

brands are meaningless as well, i think they were added in so at some point in the future different brands would do different things, some tires are faster on the road but reduce engine power or something along the lines. atm tho utterly useless

Ok thanks for the reply. I'll just stick with Michelin right now (if available) for general use because I like they way they look.

Hopefully I'll have to change them in the future due to needs of the farm and the fact they make a difference.

Just adds flavor afaik. But I outfit my tractors to purpose.

For example I have one smaller JCB mainly for moving equipment, handling and selling pallets. That one has Nokian.

For big plows, duals can make sense for traction.

Working on slopes, and/or handling heavy loads, duals can give stability against tipping too.

And I am sure there will be mods, where traction will actually matter again, for example when it rains and you plow slightly uphill, you would want duals and a heavy weight on the front to get high traction...
