No option to hire worker

It will not let me hire workers. I know the button is H but it doesnt do anything. Can Anyone can help?

You've not really given us much to go on, so it's hard to say what you're exactly trying to do. You know you don't just hire NPCs to walk around your farm and randomly perform jobs like The Sims, right?

Assuming you do know how hired workers are supposed to work in this game, my best advice is the start the job yourself. Once the tractor and tool are partway onto the field doing their job, then switching to the hired worker should just work. If you start back a little ways off of the field, sometimes the game doesn't know what you want the hired worker to do.

I've checked my controls it's set to H.. Currently in a Tractor to sow and the option to hire a worker isn't even on the control list on the left side of my screen

If you have the auto start engine option turned off, you have to start the engine before you can hire one.

You might be out of money..

Go to the controlls and hit reset to default...

Not really sure what else might cause it

Not trying to be funny here , but try reseting it in both keyboard and controls as a test, save and do a reboot and see what happens, worth atry.

I unplugged my G29 steering wheel to solve this problem. settings I set with my controller must have upset the game. If you want to use a steering wheel and hire workers with H i suggest to not assign a key for hiring workers on your steering wheel.
