But i suspect just recently there's been a huge price drop. At this lower price, id say get both. Pure farming isnt even close to FS, but it does have its own thing going, and for a new very low price its definitely worth it. Its like toy farming simulator (.. i know) but at the same time its well done as has a few things fs doesn't. Like a campaign and challenges.
If anything, pure farming is the missing tutorial and campaign mode from fs which is just the sandbox. Its fun in its own way.
I like the Pure Farming management portion as well. Many aspects of Pure Farming I like a lot more than FS.
However, the most important part of farming simulator has not been adopted to Pure Farming, and that is the awesome modding community. I don't care how many millions of dollars a company puts towards it's game, it will never match what are amazing community does.
Also, the default equipment for any FS game is 1,000 times better than the default equipment on Pure Farming.
But really, why stick to one? If it is a choice due to money, buy pure farming today, I think it is like 50% off right now. When you can afford the $35 for FS, buy it. While you are at it, try Cattle and crops, :-D
Pure Farming has
-1st and 3rd person view both in player mode and in machine mode
- greenhouses, wind turbines and solar panels for easy money
(graphics look better for the crops inside the trailers; tomatoes, cabages, potatoes)
- drone mode to fly over your farm and see the status of the lands ( fertilization, crops, etc)
- many country maps with specific enviroment and crops which work in the same time (except the USA, the rest feel quite small)
- orchards
- wineries
- sheep, goats, pigs, cows, chickens, rabbits
- management screen to show you when your crops will be ready so you can skip foraward.
- decent amount of farming machines.
The only good things about Farming Simulator games is the amount of machinery and their complex simualtion. Everything else feels "flat"
It's let down by appalling a.i. helpers.
In fact they are useless, they are buggy and don't work properly.
If this was fixed it would be well worth getting cos it's a lot of fun.
