how can i unload cotton?

i have took a misison to harvest some cotton and now i need to unload that bale but there is no button i can press to actually do it. Must the machine be fully loaded? If yes, why can i do if i am in a mission and it says 80% complete?

The cotton harvester auto unloads when full

When you've completed the field and turn the harvesting mechanism off it should give you an option to unload the unfinished bale.

Also hit B when using the trailer to position it for loading, then back up to the bale and it'll conveyor it onto the trailer.

I'm getting the same problem. There is no prompt to unload (only 2,000 cotton inside after harvesting field 24 for someone) with or without the trailer nearby. 80% complete and I am stuck on this mission now.
