Field needs plowing

So i am using a combo tool.
Its under seeders category but there are others like this under the plowing category too

So my tool plows, add fertilizer and plant seeds. all 3 in 1.

But the field refuses to accept the plowing from this tool. It rages me so much.

Plowing or cultivating? I can't recall of any seeders that plow and seed, only cultivate and seed.

plowing can be done with a plow or culti-plow. Anything else isn't plowing.

gotta use either a plow or a subsoiler. the seeder with cultivator you are using isn't either of those.

yes thats right. And if it helps Zentaki i use a John Deere chisel plow mod which is square and gets done so much faster it is about like using a cultivator. They do exsist in real life even some Youtube videos on them. Hope this helps

If you use the Väderstadt Spirit R 300 S, it does not work for plowing. It only spares you the second cultivation of a field. I made the same mistake in the beginning but the Spirit is a good starting tool anyway, so it's not really a loss having bought it.

As said before, for actual plowing go for plows or subsoilers.

Well... then the Tooltip must be wrong, because there are some Seeders, wich state "No plowing needed" (Something like that^^) I think thats a little bit misleading^^

I use the JD chisel plow to and it does a great job for me

I'd guess it is a translation error which is not literally wrong but in regards of the meaning. Plowing and cultivating can both be translated to/from pflügen, wich in english only would be plowing.

Those seeders only do the job of a cultivator, not the one of deepsoilers or plows.

There are several of such issues which are partially based on game mechanics and partially based on translation. Deepsoilers for example can be used to plow while they indeed do not do the job of plows.

In the end, it still is a game and stuff needs to be gamie sometimes, unfortunately, sometimes it leads to unfitting descriptions or such 'forced' user errors, were the user just could not know what he was doing wrong without extensive random knowledge ^^

If it does say "No plowing needed" then the key language issue may be the word "needed". Plowing is definitely desirable to prevent the negative effect on final yield, but NOT plowing does not prevent you from cultivating, sowing, fertilizing, etc., and, therefore, neither needed nor required.

Either way, yes, the game text is misleading.

no plow needed is in reference to no till farming. several farmers here does that in real life. it helps protect the top soil. although it does not mean you get the plowed bonus or remove the need that the game will surely tell you it needs. it just means you dont have to worry about plowing. i havent tested theory out in game. but with the JD plow it takes no time and the smallest tractor that comes with the game can pull it reducing the stress of using a plow and cheaper than the dirt to do it to get the plowed bonus.
