Save game editing / XML still possible?

Yush, tittle & i still hope so, then this game still support editing save game & xml files, just like any other FS games. I still want to use this. Not for cheating. Just for other reasons. Don't ask.

Also still modding support was a good idea.

Ofcourse you can still edit your save files and xml's. Modding is going to be just as good or even better then the previous games

You can still edit the XML for money and etc. Money for example is now saved in 2 locations the savegame XML and a XML called farms. There may be other instances in this new one where two locations need to be edited for it to work.

Yes. I've done it already in my cheat save.

Same location as '17, but you have to edit both careerSavegame.xml and farms.xml, and ensure that the money matches in both files. farms.xml will have a number followed by a period and several 0's. Just change everything to the left of the decimal to match what you've changed in the career file.

Ignore the person who said they're in a binary format, you can open and edit them easily with Notepad++ or something similar.
