Problem downloading

Can anyone help me? I downloaded Nebraska lands and put it it the mod folder and when i start the game its not there??

You didn't read the instructions. :P

Nebraska Lands, like some other big mods and maps, isn't just a single mod, it's many. You need to unzip the folder you downloaded and then move all the other stuff into your mod folder. I think it's something like 17 separate zip files in there.

then just redownload it and get winrar

You don't need winrar for this. Windows built in extractor works just fine.

Yeah within the Zip Folder you download from the Nexus Mods site, there are 17 separate zip files. 7zip in Windows by default should let you open the archive you download, then select the 17 zips in the window and drag them over to your mod folder to install them. Though for Nebraska Lands I'd recommend putting that map and mods in its own separate folder altogether away from all your other mods, and just load that map and mods by itself.

I'm trying to download Nebraska and I get an error message when the NebraskaLandUSA folder tries to download. I see all the mods that came with the file but I don't see the map. The error code is 0x80004005. Also when I try to extract just the NebraskaLand file it says Destination file could not be created.

Are you downloading it from Nexus? I wouldn't recommend downloading it from anywhere else.

do you need to unzip the 17 additional files too? or keep them zipped in the mods folder. Every time i try to unzip the actual map it gives me a crc error. tried plenty of different programs and several sites. Nebraska isnt on nexus anymore, anyone know why? Or am i just stupid

i dont know this specific map, but in general a mod is supposed to be in zip format in the mod folder. however if the zip file contains more zip files then you need to unzip the main mod file. most likely the mod map you want to use has multiple different mods included. It sounds like maybe that map has 17 mods total you need to install. I had to do that when I tried out the Yukon map I downloaded.
