Console vs. PC
I have played past versions of this series on ps4, and now that I have a pc (nice one at that) I was wondering if buying '19 on PC is the better decision. Im not much of a graphics guy, just performance and comfort. I also dont play with anyone, im a solo guy. So basically what i am asking is, will i find it better for operating the machinery (driving, steering, etc.)?

Well in your case, I think it's what you feel more comfortable with. Normally I would recommend PC, however, since you're more interested in performance and comfort it might be beneficial to stick to console. The major difference you would experience would be mouse/keyboard controls, or possibly a wheel/pedals if you have that setup. Personally I prefer the controls I have on my PC over a console controller. And Giants have done an amazing job at allowing multiple input devices to be used on PC simultaneously.
Mods on pc are better usually and also with saitek set up i have its hard to go back to Ps4
Console is really limited. Limited amount of vehicles with the slot system. Limited mods etc.

There are so many maps and gamechanger mods you can get on pc which you won't get on consoles. Everything that adds custom scripts the main game can't do without extra files

The only reason to go for console is if you do not have a pc to run the game. Otherwise, the choice should be pc, always

Not got 17 on console but doesn't the console versions limit the number of workers you can have?

Pc will always be backwards compatible, so you aren't just wasting your money until the "next gen" comes out lol.

you say that. But there is a lot of games that run really badly on windows 10 and 7. Older games. But you will get it to work if you really want to
Mods on the PC version like Course Play and hundreds of maps and implements make it the platform of choice to me.

I do favor consoles for many new games but not the FS games.

Which games? I haven't seen any yet.
i am the opposite, always played on pc, but i like so much more the comfort of an easy chair with a controller, so i got an xbone recently and i am pleasanlty surprised how things run, no more
need of tuning .but yes the lack of mods can be an issue, depending on the game.
i dont think it will be an issue for me, basic stuff and a few maps is enuf.
just scanned what mods there are for consoles, i am happy with that.

I made a list up to 32 and could've kept going but I decided to just say you're a 'uninformed casual' instead.

You play on pc and litteraly dont know a single one? Pfft I pray you dont call yourself a gamer :steamsad:
The games that generally don't run well on Win 10 are older games that people still play. To get them to run requires that you have to do extra setup and install older verions of DirectX to make them work if they will work at all. In fact alot of these games are for sale here on Steam.
