Anyone knows about Familiy Sharing?
Hey my question is: Has anyone heard of steam familiy sharing so far, so is it possible that for example i buy the game will my brother on his account also be able to play the game? (Not looking at all the limiting factors familiy sharing already has)
thx in advance

ps; how is it in with fs 17?

i know how steam family sharing works but some games i.e. PUBG or Eco do not allow steam family sharing, so is doesen't matter if my brother isn't plaing any games, i would not be able to play pubg over family sharing, because the developer has disabled that function.
Well, I am family sharing Farming Simulator 17 to my friend ( At his own house so yes it does work at different places ) and to my sister and they both can play the game fine as if it were their copy of the game.

i think yes, but if not..
just let him use savegames 7 to 10 for example so plays are seperated. (or any other fixed combination)

thank you . but the problem wpuld be that we do not have access to each others computers, so your solution would not work, since i do not live at home anymore

u can but you can`t play at the same time tho
When you Family share a game with someone, ( I am doing it with 1 of my friends and my sister ) the game will be able for them to play. But, they will not be able to play any games from your library if you are currently using your library ( Playing any other game ). And about the Save file I do not know and I did not pay attention to see if it transfers from one computer to the other. I do not think it does. but if you really want to be safe, Tell your brother to use the savegames starting from the right of the list ( from 20, to 19, to 18 and so on... ) while you use the saves starting from the left ( from 1, to 2, to 3 and so on... ).

i think famly sharing is meant to be on the same home, sounds logical to me.
but with all teh restrictions, jsut get another copy, its not that expensive like
the triple aaa games which do 60 each.
