Grass not growing seasons

Just made it through my first winter, got two cuttings in the previous summer. Now on day 6 of 6 in Spring and the grass still shows as harvested. Any idea why it's not growing back? These were the default grass fields on this map. Does it make any difference if I plow and actually seed for grass?

Do you have fertilized the fields with liquid manure before winter? Of not, it won’t grow so fast as well

My experience has been the same. Two cuttings the first year, only one the second. Seems wrong.

Same here. Already got used to not even consider a second cut as it never get`s there. :)

I didn't fertilize because the default grass fields don't accept fertilizer in regular FS19. Do they accept fertilizer now in seasons? In the default game grass only seems to accept fertilizer if you plow and seed grass. The grass fields that come with the map would never change a darker shade of blue.

They get up to three fert states (although they always retain one) and even get weeds. The growth on seasons does not seem ‘natural’. Maybe they will fix it. If crops are sprouting in the spring then grass should be too.

Yeah I just checked, grass fields that you didn't plow and "create field" aren't recognized as fields so they don't accept fertilizer. Guess I'll try plowing these under and see what happens.

I always plow my grass fields and replant - force of habit from fs17. I'm assuming that if you replow and plant every spring that you will get two cuts? Will try when I get time.
