Brush Mower?

Is there a brush mower in this game? I tried the poplar header and a few different grass mowers but none of them work on bushes. I know you can paint over them to remove them but I would really like to just be able to mow them if I could find a machine that could do it.

i don't think iv ever come across one that gets rid of the "decorative" bushes. closes i had found was a stump grinder that cut grass. i think as of now the land scape tool is the closest youll get. but atleast now the grass texture actually plants grass

I use a small plough and then go over with roller. I have roller on front and plough on rear and use a tractor that you can reverse drive

You would think with all the forestry equipment in the game with half million dollar machines to cut down huge trees there would be something that could cut down a knee high bush!?! I tried all the attachments for the skid steer and the chainsaw and nothing will cut them. Someone needs to do a mod to add a three dollar jack knife to the game to cut down bushes because the bushes are too tough for the $515,000 forage harvester!?!

Plough and roller are the only way currently.

, i cant think the name but i think its in the misc part , its liek a topper/mower but clears bushes

Jeff1985 I tried the Biobeltz UM 300 Forestry Mulcher, it dose stumps and grass among other things but it doesn’t clear bushes. If you run across something that dose clear bushes please post. It’s too bad that UM 300 doesn’t do bushes, it’s small and cheap, would be perfect if it worked on bushes.

dam , yeah ill let you know . it might of been cos of the map i was on . guess you will have to plow em up and repaint with grass for now

I recently saw a youtube video by Daggerwin where he used the sickle bar mower to cut brush. Don't know if he had another mod or setting that made it possible but I can't get it to work.

Real Mower is a mod that will allow your mowers to cut all weeds (bushes & flowers) on grass outside of fields. This ability can be toggled on or off.

There is a mod called Ino Elite 270 - its under the Mowers section of the modhub. It removes bushes quite well - it does not mow, though it is in the mower section. I have been using it to remove bushes and it is quite effective, though sometimes you have to finagle where the actual bush 'root' is. I have the Real Mower mod as well but never toggled it on so I am hoping I am right that it is just the Ino doing it lol.

Someone in another chat mentioned the Real Mower mod. I installed it and love it. Having a sickle bar mower cut the brush just seem more realistic.
