Breeding
How do we breed our animals? In the other FS games the breeding is done through feeding them. The sheep breed the fastest and in FS 19 I've had my animals for ages and my sheep the longest and my sheep haven't even started breeding yet and I've had them for a week and I pplay this game every day.

You have to fullfill their needs. anough food, cleaning, water, etc. You can look it up in the menu under Animals.

They breed on a time scale that scales down the more animals of the exact some kind you have. I'll use pigs as my example.

Example, if you have one pink pig, and one black and white pig, it will take hours and hours game time to breed. Add more pink pigs and reproduction wait times for the pink pigs decrease tremendously.

The better you care for them, keep them at 100%, the better.

The animals are xenophobic. A black cow will not breed with a brown and so on. Best to have all one colour in a pen.

Two things. The first, why do we have to ride our horses about every three hours. It takes about five minutes to get one horse at 100% and even when I have twelve horses it means riding for an hour every three hours. That will get so tedious and the more horses the longer it will take. The second thing is, some horses have three percentage bars. I know the second one with the heart means the horse's mood so he/she is happy when they are on 100%. What does the first and third one mean. The third percentage bar on one of my horses has dropped.

I am pretty sure horse were added to appeal to a different demographic. I.E. people that do not generally farm.

There is a mod called horse helper, i believe, that trains your horses for you, at a daily cost per horse.
