Overloading and Missing Crops

Hi

I have a frustrating issue id really appreciate some help with guys

for a while now when i drive to a silo with a full load from a job rather than saying unloading it says overloading but sometimes it still pays as usual

then other times even though i take it to the silo that the mission says to i get to the end and it lists the whole crop as missing

have i maybe accidently changed a setting? im playing on the pc version if that makes a difference

Are you failing the mission? As all harvesting missions do not require you to harvest all the crops to complete. Instead, the surplus is sold to your account as a bonus.

Are you bringing them to the correct sell point on the map? You should see a different color marker on the map that is where you need to sell the crops for that job (it changes when you get a new job).

yeh i am taking it to the right point but sometimes it reports the whole crop as missing

Can you complete the mission and earn money? Or is there a penalty for failing the mission?

Did you try verify the files? It may help.

From the Library section, right-click on the game and select "Properties" from the menu. Select the "Local Files" tab and click the "Verify integrity of game cache..." button. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

unfortunately i cant do that jumbled because i got it on disc and while i was meant to be able to run through steam as well it hasnt worked so still running it off the disc.

for example i just did a cotton mission which has only 1 place where i can drop it and it still comes up with -80000 due to missing crops, the weird part being is i still get the reward.

Starting to get pretty annoyed about it, it seems like theres so many of these annoying bugs with the game youd think they would have fixed them

for some reason this didnt post my response to you jumbled.

even though i was told i could use the code from the dvd to register it with steam like i have for other games it didnt work so unfortunately its not in steam library.

ive also started to notice that when i hire a worked to run the field it has started going partway along a line then stopping as if its reached the end and turning around. any ideas?

If you are getting the reward the mission is complete. I am pretty sure -80,000 is showing because the mission no longer requires it. Any surplus is sold as a profit into your account. If you undertake another mission. Note your sold crops finances before and after the mission.

As to the AI not running an entire field. The AI is notoriously dumb and needs working around. Doing a headland or two at each on of the field helps. If the AI is stopping is there an obstruction, is the tool empty, the field in a different state. Some fields appear to have issues along an edge. The only work round for that is to complete that edge then start them off again.

I found that the harvesting missions were a bit screwed up. The percent product turned in was not dependent on completion of the contract. When the contract is complete but the product is not at 100% it shows that you had a deficit and indicates that you are required to pay something. This is offset by still having all the extra product that you harvested but didn't turn in. However.....the game never takes the money it says you owe!! You get to keep it and the extra product. Pretty sure this is a bug.

Known problem that is very alarming and confusing to new FS19 players, and very annoying to veteran FS19 players. I really doubt Giants are going to fix this, because doing so would equate to Giants admitting they were wrong. Yeah, that'll be the day. :-(

I had the same problem with missing crop, what i did was when doing contracts I take off crop destruction and that has solved the issue of missing crop for me. as for overloading i too have that so pretty sure this is the games fault rather than you have accidently changed anything

This problem with missing crops first appeared when they released Patch 1.3 back in February. Are you saying that today despite them releasing Patch 1.4 they still haven't fixed this? That's shocking from Giants QA.
