I mean, i like Felsbrunn, it's a nicely done map, the problem is, i really gravitate towards big fields.
Lately i've been playing on Ravenport and i'm having a blast, even though some the fields have somewhat weird shapes the workers handle them fine. Overall it's a very well done map. And i'll keep on playing it for a while.
But i just want much much bigger maps, i was looking through some modded maps and tons of them are catered towards small village farming which has 0 appeal to me (since i like using workers, and workers and highly irregular realistic fields simply doesn't work) even if some are very well done. Then there's plenty who maybe realistic but simpy don't look fun at all to play in.
I'm looking for 4X maps, but everything i see just doesn't seem appealing. unbalanced maps, 4X maps with tons of small fields (what's the point?)
The only modded 4X map i really want to try is Flusstal XXL. It has some giant fields as well as a detailed world.
What i would really like is Giants to make a huge map (for FS21 perhaps). At least like some fields with 200 acres or something for some proper industrial farming.
Only thing I use the vanilla maps for are for test games to try out mods before adding them to my real game.
The vanilla maps are just boring and lifeless.
