Rise from the Ashes day 2 investigation bug

Ok so this is a portion of the game that seems especially finicky, since I've seen lots other people ask about it as well: I'm in the evidence room with gumshoe and trying to get to the part where I can actually talk to edgeworth.
I have collected: the broken jar, the rubber glove, the evidence about the evidence lockers, the floor plan that is updated with both of the blood splatter locations, and updated the ID card log with edgeworth's name. I have shown Gumshoe both the SL-9 knife and Goodman's note (in that order but not back to back) and have gotten him to talk about SL-9 but he hasn't left to find edgeworth. any ideas on what I can do to get unstuck?

meekins id? I don't think I have his. and I know I showed him the ID card list and he had nothing to say on that

I was missing the spray on the locker that's behind gumshoe. I guess because when I was spraying with abandon I was mostly hitting near the scanner halfs of the lockers, not closer to the hinges

I just replayed it a month ago and missed that same thing. There's not much to prompt you to check it a second time.
