Animations too fast with a 144Hz screen.
First bug found, the animations are much too fast with a 144Hz screen. In addition, because of this, the commands are too responsive.

To fix the problem, I had to lower the frequency of my screen to 60Hz.

In addition, using a joystick does not change the display of keys in dialogs (the TAB key does not exist on a gamepad, CAPCOM :steamfacepalm: )

Have you tried turning vsync off?

It's not a bug. It's the way the game was programmed. Here is a posting explaining this. https://steamcommunity.com/app/787480/discussions/0/1812044473332661029/.
Turning vsync off fixed the problem for me. Seems like the Cutscenes are meant to be played at 60 fps at max.

I had that too, just switched the vsync off and that fixed it/

Programming that causes the game to do something wrong is literally what a bug is.

That's the very definition of a bug...

True but not in this case. These games are not meant to run at 144hz. They were only programmed with 60hz in mind. Hence the reason I posted the link.

You are correct. But in this case the way Capcom programmed the games currently with only 60hz monitors in mind. Im not sure if it is even possible to make a patch that allows refresh rates higher than 60 without reprogramming the game entirely.

Do you actually have some sort of insider knowledge about the programming of this game, or is this just unfounded speculation?

No I don't it is just speculation at this point. We might need to ask Capcom if it is possible.

Any ideas of how to fix the game running too slow? Have tried turning v-sync off, using windowed mode, etc.
