The game looks great on Switch tablet in 720p (these were originally designed for GBA with a simple art style so resolution isn't really important). But on PC you can choose to play with a mouse if you prefer, but touchscreen is also possible if you have a Windows tablet or can stream to an Android or Apple, you're also much more likely to find a good sale discount than other systems.
Either way you'll get pretty much the same experience, but Switch is definitely the better option if you travel or have a long commute to work so you play on the bus/train etc.
I want to play on my TV, i dont' move my switch from home. Is it still worth it ?
One thing to keep in mind is the investigation segments which function in a Point & Click style. As these were originally GBA games they were designed with a drag cursor so playing on a television with a controller isn't going to detract from your experience. Personally I prefer the direct immediacy of the touchscreen when I first played the DS version and now the Switch. A mouse would work just as well for these on PC or you can play with a controller in the same way as docked Switch.
I haven't checked to see if the Switch supports Joycon pointer support which would work great if it does, but I don't think it's included.
Both Nintendo and Steam will have the inevitable Christmas sale so I would just go for the cheaper option.
I have no tp for my bunghole. Do you have any for me ?
