What games does the anime cover?

Is it worth getting the game if I've seen a lot of the anime? I've seen up to the train part in the anime and I stopped there. From looking things up people have said the first 26 episodes covers the first two games, but I want to check and see if that's true.

Season 1 covers the first game and most of Justice for All (except case 1). Season 2 covers all of Trials and Tribulations + JFA's case 1. They also added some completely original episodes. Oh, and neither of them covers Rise from the Ashes.

So in your honest opinion you think its still worth buying? I watched the first 25 episodes a while ago and some of season two fairly recent. Like will that ruin the experience of the game?

I don't like the anime personally (the pacing feels rushed like in most adaptations and there are changes I don't like), but either way I'll always recommend playing the games. That way, you can experience the story in full and have all the interactivity that comes with it. Since you watched the anime, parts of the game will be easier for you because you'll know the solutions, but other than that, I highly recommend buying it.

I dunno, I kinda like the anime more than the game actually. The anime is really good and you can feel the power of objection! All the investigation in the game is too boring, only the trials are fun in my opinion.

The first 12 episodes of season 1 follow the first game almost to the letter (there are some obvious deviations). I would watch the anime first then play the case but now that I finished the first game it seems the anime can no longer help me.

The two seasons cover the whole original trilogy contained in this Steam release between them, with Season One having one bonus episode not based on the games, and Season Two having several added stories like that. (There is one very long case featured in the first game that was totally skipped in the anime, though.)

The games are a much better format for the same story, so you should be able to enjoy them just fine even if you've already seen the anime. The anime (on top of being ugly as hell in Season One) tends to rush like crazy to fit 20-25 hour-long games into a much smaller timespan, so a lot of stuff is skipped or simplified a bunch compared with the original games.
