That's true. A lot of people did not like both the jar puzzle and the name puzzle. Rise from the Ashes episode is super cool in general, but these mini games are giving people pain....
I did it yesterday and after a dozen or so attempts i had to check the walkthrough just to see it was exactly like i thought it should be, and had allready attempted several times.
Still it took me another 10 or so attempts to get it in a perfect angle.
Basically the margin of error is 0 on that puzzle.
Which ruins the game when you got the correct idea but only get the angle 99% correctly, so the game tells you you are wrong, thus also confusing you.
But ♥♥♥♥, I don't have the patience to test all 16,000 odd possible combinations of slight rotations in each direction that still looks like it fits the angle, so I guess I'll watch somebody else's playthrough of the remaining half-hour or so of the game or something. Damn shame.
THANK YOU DS GIMMICKS!
Even though you know the answer, the game is asking you to perfectly rotate an object to match an imperfect sketch.
What the actual ****? How did this get green lit?
Probably added to the game to spawn rage threads like this.
edit: like, it's not even hard to code a little wiggle room - it's literally a rotation vector.
