Best way to gain money
What is the most efficient and fastest way to gain money right now in your opinion?

I'm mostly just mining. I go to lvl 39 and stay there grabbing diamonds, that blue ore thing that I forgot the name and some other jewels. I can usually get 16K-22K per trip or more if I brought a lot of provisions. It's a bit time consuming going all the way down from lvl 20 to 39 and then having to go back every ladder though.

How are you guys doing regarding money? Any better way to gain money?

Octotinium is the blue. Honestly, I just got 10 chickens and 2 cows, a cheese maker and a mayo maker and it nets me decent money. Then grow crops.

I usually just faint when I'm that low in the mines. Lol

I hate mining so I don't bother, other than occasional trip to 20-25 which is fast to restock on battery material. I make most money by farming obviously, in winter you can make 7.5k ish per day on mushrooms. I always have an impregnated cow but it takes a while to get the ball rolling on big animals. Fishing with treasure perk seems reasonable too, but it's monotone.

when you get max hammer, max mining, the perks and a bunch of stamina, you can get to lvl 40 quite easily without even relying on food. i mostly just use food to stay there and mine more.

it has been quite lucrative, getting that ammount of money in a single day, but every day right now is so long... going to the mines, grabbing the nightflowers to gift to some people later, going back and forth to gift them...

that's too much work!

While fishing in cave with Deep Treasure and Ori Rod can net up to 40k+ depend on your luck and work after, but it as BORE as watching your Husbandry level with only Chicken and real time consuming.

You need Pier for access -The world- cave. Better with Kitchen and extra stamina recovery (Some Lemonade is fine) ready in your house.
Fish till your inventory full. -> back to house and drop all item inside -> go back to fishing -> back to house... until 17:00. If you have kitchen -> get Oil and fry all Minnow (add ~$165). Ship all of them.

Once 21:00 -> back to fishing loop until 2~3:00 or 4:00 if you are not bore enough. Have oil left? fry Minnow. Ship all of them again..... you better not overwork like this.

TBH, great when you didn't have other choice. Go with Automaton and huge farm. or Full power Mushroom Cave 7.6kpd is better.

how much time did you spend on a single day doing this? the 40k sounds tempting.

I ...... can't remember exactly. Cuz I bore and switch to do something else from time to time. I'll give it a try. I usually stop at evening (start from ~9:00) and that about 10~20k
btw, but how much time, i mean real life minutes, not in game minutes. i think spend at least 20-30 minutes doing all this thing in the mine. it wouldn't take so much time if the dev wasn't so stubborn and didn't add a ladder to go back to the top.

(ADD THIS LADDER, DEV!!!)

Yeah, I know that you mean real life time. That why I say I gonna give it a try cuz fish till evening is already more than 30 min. :v

But that with basic rod. I just got Gold rod and really wish that it will save my time.

Edit ->

Ok I'll do just estimate time. Spend ~20 min per trip with gold rod. Take about 1.30 hour to drop loot and come back. Which mean I can do about .... 5 trips at most before 17:00, after 23:00 (include night flower hunt) a few more trip, let say 3 trips (can do up to 5)

That ... about ....... 2~3 hours+ per day ' A ' May be less with ori rod, but I'm sure that it still around 2 hours.

Hmm from my experience if you are getting 16~22k per trip, the time you spend going back up to floor 20 shouldn't take 10%..no...probably 5% of the total time you spent, as that figure can only be attend by quite heavy mining, 20~30 mins like you've mentioned. It usually take me about 5 min to get to floor 39, going backwards up is usually fatster, like ~3 min as ladder up are always uncovered (not always readily accessible though). I think you just got too burn out once you finished your mining and that makes the upward process seemed a lot longer LOL I'm not against the idea of having method to instantly travel up though, any time saving is welcome :D

My way of doing it currently, is to massive plant. I have like 400+ crops with lvl 10 farming,
that gives monthly profit of 350k~530k (13~17k per day) depending on season, less if you haven't unlock more profitable seeds, but still very decent.
It's not even that much work per se, with octotinium watering can, I finish my watering before 11 am, so less than 4 mins of real time game play daily if I water them all by myself. With robot watering, 2.5 hours of in game time. Of course that means a lot of work on the first day of season, be ready to spend full day clearing up things from previous season and replanting them.

Mushrooms and husbandry late game can have very good daily income too, without too much effort, so I'll slowly transition into those

From what I see, with perks and octotinium fishing rod, you can have good profit fishing in given amount of real time spent.

Mining in general isn't a very efficient way to generate profit, due to it's ladder design, and low stacking numbers (means less per trip). Though there're other values to mining, for gifts and other materials, which speeds up other aspects of the game, so I still go down mining occasionally, but consumes much less time as I just take everything I got.

I shuffle between mining, farming, chicken + mayo maker master, with the occasional fishing.
hmm I'm thinking about fishing then. now that i notice, there's a lake/river in the place where you can get the acid water. time doesn't pass there. seems like a good fishing spot.

i'll have to upgrade my rod though. it still is the basic one. what does upgrading the rod does btw? the fish you get are worth more?

Make sure you upgrade your fishing rod If you care about $ earned / real time spent.
It doesn't make fish worth more but you'll get a lot more catches in a given time frame.

Not really, I usually get my robot to harvest for me.
If it's only by myself, it wouldn't take a full day, but it's painful for sure
Probably until ~4 pm
