Crop Information (WIP)
As far as I can tell the actual game has pretty much 0 information on the crops other than the season they grow in so I figured I'd start compiling some stuff myself. I suck at wikis so I'm posting it here. Sell prices might not be accurate for everyone as I have the accountant background and was level 1 in farming at the time I recorded this info, which I think both give a 5% increase. Should still give you a general idea of which crops are most profitable though.

Spring Crops

Turnip
  • Buy for 10G
  • 4 day growth period
  • Sell for 55G

Lettuce
  • Buy for 15G
  • 5 day growth period
  • Sell for 99G

Cucumber
  • Buy for 15G
  • 6 day growth period
  • Sell for 71G

Okra
  • Buy for 20G
  • 7 day growth period
  • Sell for 87G

Carrot
  • Buy for 20G
  • 6 day growth period
  • Sell for 92G

Please add any corrections or info you've found out yourself~

Did you record those prices with the same variable? I mean when you're selling them are you on the same farming level?

If so, seems like lettuce is the highest profit per day.

Based on your data (with accountant buff), the profit per day is
Turnip: 11.25G per day
Lettuce: 16.8G per day
Cucumber: 9.3G per day
Okra: 9.57G per day
Carrot: 12G per day

So none of the Spring crops that is available in the beginning regrow?

It might also be worth noting how long each crop stays as a seed before turning into a plant - a few seem to take a couple of days which makes them more of a risk.

My first playthrough it rained a couple of days after I spring planted and I lost most of my crops - the ones that were still seeds were nearly all washed away with the rain. :steamfacepalm:

I cried then restarted the game. :steamsalty:

Wow thanks! Didn't expect anyone to be that far in the game yet. Our cucumber numbers are dramatically different, I wonder why.

Yeah, I sold them all at farming level 1. None of the Spring crops regrew.

I think crops can be washed away even when they've just started sprouting so it might be hard to determine exactly how long it takes for each crop to be "safe", especially since you can get lucky and not have it happen. It would definitely be useful info to have though.

Wait, I thought seeds will only get washed away if you planted the day before or when it's raining. It can still get washed away if you planted two days prior to rain? That's a bit odd.

And Tuckr13, did you get early access to the game? Or did you marathon 14 hours since the game released not even 24 hours ago? Good god. And thank you for the data. Will be very useful indeed. XD

I think the seeds are at risk of washing away until they at least sprout. IE if the tile is still visually a seed. Could be wrong, but I'd need to test it out

The crops don't wash away unless you plant them the day before or on the day it rains and if i remember correctly, they shouldn't wash away when they sprout. You can get a perk to reduce the risk of washing away... So lets theorise you loose half your seeds when they was away (Also theorising that's a hard % which it isn't) when you get the perk it drops to around 10-20% that get washed away instead. Hope that helps.

So I started a new game just for science and I've chosen Wrestler as my previous occupation. With everything at level 0, here are the results so far:

Turnip sells for 50G
Lettuce_______90G
Cucumber_____65G
Okra_________80G
Carrot________85G

Green herb____5G
Red herb______6G
Fat__________16G
Nightflower____75G

Iron__________30G
Copper_______80G

All these was sold separately, one item per day and each item (except copper) was shipped twice to see if correct value is observed.

Apparently you can't sell wood, stone, grass or shadow plum.

Grass fully grown in 5 days and regrow every 4 days.

How many days are there in a season in this game?
