i feel alot of people where disappointed myself included cause alot of problems fromt he 2nd game make it into this one like
the first game laided out the foundation the 2nd built apon it and the 3rd basically adds like something little it doesnt build on the first 2 games cause the core game play is there and its good but they didnt add on to it like a feature where you can place buildings where you want buy building slots you know makes it feel like your school not to mention the recrutiement feels more restrictive overall (if fact it is) cause in the other 2 if you had the gold you could let as many people join and now you have to wait for applacants to come
Why would they completely retire Flash? Here's why: Flash is a browser plug-in that still uses the antiquated NPAPI (Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface). Because NPAPI is so old, it is highly vulnerable to being compromised by hackers.
I do believe, however, that there is a way for individuals to "preserve" Flash games: just download those said games by using something like "Video DownloadHelper" and then download a stand-alone Flash player; and you can then play the Flash-based browser games on that stand-alone Flash player! No browser needed. Make sure that you download the file that has a ".swf" extension.
I can see where you're coming from. I bought this game and enjoy it. The first game was incredibly simplistic, the second was a visual overhaul with a few new features, and this one is yet another visual overhaul (from 2d browser game to 3d steam game) and a handful of new features (like a plot). I'm pretty sure the mission maps in this game aren't procedural but actually done by hand (with tilesets), since almost all of them have some unique writing in them.
Yet it's still the same simple game at its core. You can definitely get a lot more value for $15 on steam, no debate there. The appeal of this game is only its "few good ideas" because they're relatively unique. And the art production is nice.
I don't really think this game makes many "wrong" design decisions, everything it does it does right, it just doesn't do nearly enough. Here's hoping for a sequel with more going on.
you make some good points as i see you also played the first 2 games but this game isnt really an overall visual overhual of the 2nd game if anything i would consider it more of an upgrade then an overhual.
but i did ask them on the offical page about more stuff coming and they did say things are coming but they dont want to spoil it so yeah for what its worth the game is basically an updated verson of the 2nd game
while the plot was ok it was nothing to right home about Best queen Minerva fight meh (i will also accept carmen)
but it does make a few wrong deciesions like the force graduation thats comepletely bs
